Calin Chua, Senior Research Executive

Calin first fell in love with Shanghai in 2008, when she landed herself a position in a Sports Memorabilia company. Within a few months, she fell in love with the city and its culture.

She joined Flamingo Singapore later in the year where she worked on strategic projects across Asian markets and categories, including nation branding for the Singapore Tourism Board and defining how people engage with technology for Samsung.

During her time at Flamingo, she conducted extensive ethnography across China, from Yangzhou to Mianyang. Her experience in exploratory studies brings her deep insights, and greater curiosity about Chinese culture.

Her naturally warm personality allows her to easily strike conversations and forge personal connections with consumers of all ages, from a funky teenager to a retired grandfather.
